TPU hot melt adhesive film can be used in various applications

According to different raw materials, hot melt adhesive film is divided into TPU hot melt adhesive film, PA hot melt adhesive film, PES hot melt adhesive film, EVA hot melt adhesive film and PO hot melt adhesive film. Anyone familiar with hot melt adhesive films will be interested in TPU hot melt adhesive films. TPU hot melt adhesive film is a special hot melt adhesive film made of various materials. It's easy to get people's attention. First of all, we need to know that TPU hot melt adhesive film is a kind of glue. This is an environmentally friendly adhesive. As with all hot melt adhesive films, it has good bonding and bonding properties. In addition, TPU hot melt adhesive film has a wide range of applications, which is mainly related to its multi-melting point range.

When customers use TPU hot melt adhesive film, if the TPU hot melt adhesive film does not melt during the hot pressing process, the material itself will deform. Why is this?

This is because each specification of TPU hot melt adhesive film has its temperature range, some materials can withstand high temperature, and some materials can withstand low temperature. When the temperature resistance of our material itself is not high, it is easy to be deformed by heat. When we choose TPU hot melt adhesive film to bond this material, we must consider this temperature condition.

The fabric bonded with TPU hot melt adhesive film is very comfortable to wear on the human body, and there is no plastic feeling and foreign body feeling. These are due to the properties of its main component, polyurethane. TPU hot melt adhesive film is a new type of environmentally friendly material, which has the ability to degrade, is environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and resistant to yellowing. It is suitable for products that are in direct contact with humans. At the same time, TPU hot melt adhesive film also has a variety of bonding processes, which is convenient for processing and improves efficiency. TPU hot melt adhesive film can be used in the bonding of luggage, shoes and clothing products, with strong adhesion, good effect, cost saving, environmental protection and other properties. More and more customers will give priority to TPU hot melt adhesive film bonding products.

TPU hot melt adhesive film vs anaerobic adhesive: "Scene flexibility" difference in automotive interior bonding
2025-09-11
From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
