Let's introduce the TPU hot melt adhesive film at different temperatures

TPU hot melt adhesive film is divided into high, medium and low temperature. Different temperatures are selected according to different products in different industries. Let's introduce the TPU hot melt adhesive film at different temperatures of Tepuyou

    1. Low temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film

Excellent TPU hot melt adhesive film, melting point 45-50, width 1m-1.5m, thickness 0.01mm-3mm, with or without bare substrate and release paper. customizable colors

    2. Medium temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film

Excellent medium temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film, melting point 55~70, width 1 m~1.5 m, thickness 0.02 mm~2 mm, low temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film. There are two kinds of substrate and release paper. customizable colors

    3. High temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film

The high temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film has a melting point of above 80, a width of 1-1.5m, and a thickness of 0.02-2mm. It is divided into two types with or without substrate and with release paper. customizable colors

In the use of TPU hot melt adhesive film, the bonding temperature is a very important factor, because TPU hot melt adhesive film can only melt and become sticky at a certain temperature.

Compared with hot melt adhesive films made of other materials, TPU hot melt adhesive films are thinner and softer, so they are especially suitable for the clothing field.

The advantages of TPU hot melt adhesive film are water resistance, bending resistance, cold resistance, good adhesion, easy hydrolysis, easy processing, stable quality, favorable price and wide range of uses.

TPU hot melt adhesive film is a synthetic resin, pure solid adhesive that melts when heated and becomes sticky when cooled.

TPU hot melt adhesive film is a kind of hot melt adhesive film which is widely used at present. Widely used in clothing, shoe materials, packaging and other fields. TPU hot melt adhesive film can not only meet customers' requirements for high viscosity, but also have excellent physical properties of TPU, such as good ductility and high impact toughness, and can be used in many areas where traditional hot melt adhesives are difficult to use.

TPU hot melt adhesive film vs anaerobic adhesive: "Scene flexibility" difference in automotive interior bonding
2025-09-11
From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
