    TPU film can not only be pasted on various fabrics, but also can be used to produce products with clear contour and stable size by vacuum thermoforming.     Anti yellowing grade of TPU film

    Yellowing is mainly caused by ultraviolet radiation on TPU films. Generally, laboratory simulated yellowing test uses 1-5 to judge color change, and 5 indicates no change.

    There are various test standards for yellowing resistance, and the main factors include the equal wattage, irradiation distance, time, temperature and humidity of ultraviolet ray.

    3、 Customized color of TPU film

    The color TPU film is based on the pure color TPU to achieve the color standard specified by the customer, plus special TPU color masterbatch and toner. The color matching performance of TPU toner mainly depends on whether the base color is stable and the temperature resistance is stable, which determines the color difference.

    Differences between aliphatic TPU films and aromatic TPU films

    Aromatic TPU films can be used in places with low UV radiation, and aromatic oxidized substances will fade. Aromatic TPU film is easy to be oxidized in industrial building coatings, so it is more prone to decline under direct sunlight.

    There are aliphatic TPU films suitable for the production and processing of light stable industrial coatings. Aliphatic TPU films are used where stability to UV light or sunlight must be ensured, such as automotive varnishes and many water-soluble formulations.

    Aliphatic TPU film is generally used in outdoor environment and places with strict requirements for yellowing resistance due to its yellowing resistance. It is generally used for automobile clothing film, discoloration film, paint surface protection film, outdoor display advertising cloth, etc.

    Aromatic TPU film is widely used in shoes, bags, inflatable products, medical products and industrial products.

​From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
