TPU hot melt adhesive film can meet customers' needs for high viscosity

TPU hot melt adhesive film is currently a widely used hot-melt adhesive film product, widely used in clothing, shoe materials, packaging and other fields, and its consumption is second only to EVA hot-melt adhesive film. TPU hot melt adhesive film can not only meet the customer's demand for high viscosity, but also has good physical properties of TPU

The main component of TPU hot melt adhesive film is thermoplastic polyurethane, so it is also called thermoplastic polyurethane and polyurethane hot melt adhesive film.

TPU hot melt adhesive film has some common characteristics of polyurethane materials, such as softness, cold resistance and water resistance.

Compared with hot melt adhesive films of other materials, TPU hot melt adhesive film is also thinner and softer, so it is especially suitable for the field of clothing.

The method of using the TPU hot melt adhesive film is simply to heat the TPU hot melt adhesive film at a high temperature to melt it. When it changed from solid state to viscous liquid state, the glue of liquid soaked into the surface of the sticky object, exerting certain pressure simultaneously. After the hot melt adhesive is cold-cured, it will generate cohesive force and firmly bond the two materials. So far, the TPU hot melt adhesive film has completed its mission.

The TPU hot melt adhesive film used according to the material requirements is based on the temperature resistance of the adhesive material. TPU hot melt adhesive film is becoming a new trend in various industries in the TPU industry and hot melt adhesive industry. More and more attention has been paid attention to by more and more industries, and it has also won the favor of more and more industries.

The use of TPU hot melt adhesive film is generally used for tablet penetration, and the temperature can be adjusted according to different actual operations. The characteristics of TPU hot melt adhesive film are: no glue, no solvent, environmental protection, washable, dry cleaning resistant, dry cleaning resistant, soft to the touch, TPU hot melt adhesive film has strong adhesion, no blisters, no wrinkles.

TPU hot melt adhesive film vs anaerobic adhesive: "Scene flexibility" difference in automotive interior bonding
2025-09-11
From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
