Therefore, when choosing a TPU film, it is necessary to consider the use environment and requirements of the product to find a suitable material.

TPU film is very suitable for making colorful products. However, making colorful products requires a higher MOQ. The main reason is that colored products need to be coated, and the coating process needs to clean the screw. TPU film is widely used in leather and clothing, medical and health, shoe materials, bag materials, clothing and inflatable products and other fields.

According to the needs of the product, TPU film can be made into different types such as transparent, frosted, solid color, and transparent color. The TPU film is wear-resistant and tear-resistant, and it is made of environmentally friendly material TPU particles, so it is also an environmentally friendly material itself. Manufacturers can classify colored TPU films according to different color numbers. TPU film has excellent bending strength, tensile strength and elongation at break, low temperature resistance, long-term low deformation, oil resistance, aliphatic solvent resistance and hydrocarbon solvent resistance, oxygen and ozone layer resistance and aging resistance. In addition, TPU film is also a mature green material. In winter, compared with PVC film, the performance of TPU film is very outstanding. Even in the extremely cold weather of minus 35°C, the elasticity and flexibility of the TPU film will not deteriorate.

TPU film is used in many other plastic products such as rain boots, umbrellas, shoe soles, uppers, etc., so TPU film has a wide range of uses. With the development of the domestic TPU film market, there is still no oversupply situation, and the future development prospects are still broad TPU film is one of the core applications of TPU films and one of the products with great development potential.

TPU hot melt adhesive film vs anaerobic adhesive: "Scene flexibility" difference in automotive interior bonding
2025-09-11
From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
