    The advantage of TPU hot melt adhesive film is its good washing resistance. As we know, TPU hot melt adhesive film is often used for fabric bonding in the clothing field. The clothes need to be cleaned in the process of use. The washing resistance of TPU hot melt adhesive film makes our clothes more durable.

    The hot melt adhesive film with good water washing resistance is TPU hot melt adhesive film and PO hot melt adhesive film. Because it is often used in the clothing field, there are usually certain requirements for the softness of the hot melt adhesive film, so TPU hot melt adhesive film is more commonly used. In addition, EVA hot-melt adhesive film, which is widely used, also has certain water washing resistance, but its effect is not as good as TPU hot melt adhesive film. The washing resistance is also divided into different grades, such as normal temperature washing, 60 ℃ washing, 90 ℃ washing, etc. The higher the temperature is, the higher the water washing resistance of the hot-melt adhesive film is required. Take TPU hot melt adhesive film as an example. The resistance to normal temperature washing is generally no problem for most TPU hot melt adhesive films, but not all TPU hot melt adhesive films can withstand 60 ℃ washing.

    With the increase of environmental protection inspection this year and people's concern about their own health, it has become an inevitable trend for TPU hot melt adhesive film to replace traditional glue. Many downstream enterprises of the composite plant also began to require the composite processing to use TPU hot melt adhesive film process to replace the traditional glue composite process. In this form, TPU hot melt adhesive film has been more and more widely used by the composite plant. It can be said that as long as large area composite is involved, TPU hot melt adhesive film process will be considered first for composite processing.

​From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
