There is no doubt that TPU film is an environmentally friendly material. We don't have to worry about it, and we don't have to care too much about it. Why? Because TPU film is a kind of film processed from a kind of particles, and this kind of particles are environmentally friendly particles, so the made TPU film is also an environmentally friendly material. Here are three points.

1. Odor: The odor of TPU film is different from other plastics. It will not develop some irritating odors, nor emit toxic gases. If you smell carefully, you will smell the fragrance of the TPU film.

2. Combustion: The thermoplastic polyurethane material burns, and the smoke is white smoke;

3. Easy to decompose: the decomposed TPU film can be decomposed into water, hydrogen and oxygen after being buried in the soil for about a year, and will not cause damage to the soil;

Several common TPU films

1. TPU film: polyester TPU film and polyether TPU film series. Among them, polyester TPU film has good heat resistance, chemical resistance, solvent resistance, air tightness, simple and easy process, and is widely used in various applications to replace PVC film products. Polyether TPU film has good hydrolysis resistance and low temperature resistance, excellent antibacterial and antifungal properties, and is very suitable for water sports and medical supplies.

2. High-strength composite fabric TPU film: TPU film and fabric online film casting process and special lamination technology, high peel strength, strong and wear-resistant after compression and high-frequency welding, more suitable for harsh working conditions.

3. TPU hot-melt adhesive film series: films of different materials can use different hot-melt methods, and the manufacturing and processing environment will not be polluted.

TPU film has different specifications, such as breathability, color, thickness, width, etc. Different TPU films have different uses, and you can comprehensively choose your own products according to product requirements and process conditions.

​From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
