    Tpu film has several characteristics: low film temperature, high elasticity, good waterproof performance, and good air permeability. These characteristics have better adaptability when applied to industries such as leather, shoe materials, microfibers, mobile phone cases, computer bags, jackets, sports fabrics, ceramics, and textiles. A wide range of application industries has increased the market demand for Tpu film, and there is still a gap between the existing domestic production capacity distribution and the overall demand market.

    The main features of Tpu film are:

    Wide range of hardness: By changing the ratio of reactive components of the Tpu film, products with different hardness can be obtained, and with the increase of hardness, the products still maintain outstanding elasticity and wear resistance.

    High mechanical strength: Tpu film has outstanding bearing capacity, impact resistance and shock absorption performance.

    Outstanding cold resistance: The glass transition temperature of Tpu film is relatively low, and it can still maintain good physical properties such as elasticity and flexibility at minus 35 degrees.

    Good processing performance: Tpu film can be processed by common processing methods of thermoplastic materials, such as injection molding, extrusion, calendering, etc. At the same time, Tpu film can be processed together with some polymer materials to obtain polymer alloys with complementary functions.

    Tpu film can be used for welding hollow products, fabric lamination, foam sealing, maintenance coating and wear-resistant coating, etc. Not only can it be attached to various fabrics, but it can also produce products with clear contours and stable dimensions through vacuum thermoforming. Among them, the fields with a faster increase rate: shoe upper lining, thermal underwear, bright underwear, elastic bands, medical breathable tapes, electronic and electrical appearance maintenance materials, optical films, etc.

    Through online casting and special lamination technology, the peeling strength of Tpu film and base fabric is higher. After high-frequency welding, it has strong impact resistance and compression resistance, and is suitable for environments with harsh working conditions (mostly military and security products). When making medical devices, the thickness is generally thinner, mostly 0.3 mm.

​From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
