TPU hot melt adhesive film is mostly used for shoe materials

Shoes, as a necessity in our daily life, are familiar to everyone! But what kind of shoe material is TPU hot melt adhesive film? The shoe material of TPU hot melt adhesive film may be unfamiliar or even unknown, but it is really everywhere, you can touch it with your fingertips.

In layman's terms, at what temperature adjust the temperature of the composite equipment, the adhesion of the TPU hot melt adhesive film to the material can reach the ideal state. Of course, this temperature value must be the temperature resistance requirement of the material, otherwise the material will be damaged due to high temperature. Translucent TPU hot melt adhesive film is mainly used to make profiles, shoes and hats. Garments using this glue not only have a crisp and plump appearance, but also have the characteristics of being naturally smooth after washing, and can be worn without ironing. The rubber shoes and hats are light and breathable, and have good shape retention. They are especially used in the footwear industry, and have the advantages of wearing comfort and reducing the smell of shoes.

TPU hot melt adhesive film product characteristics;

1. Have good consistency and uniform bonding thickness;

2. Can be washed, not dry cleaned;

3. Environmental protection, odorless, good air permeability;

4. Easy to process, no solvent, easy to process;

5. Soft hand feeling, strong adhesion, can fit various materials;

The TPU hot melt adhesive film produced by Tepuyou is all based on primary hot melt adhesive particles and does not participate in second-hand recycling. TPU hot melt adhesive film has complete specifications, stable use and stronger viscosity. In order to reduce costs, some manufacturers often add second-hand recycled materials or other cheap materials when producing TPU hot melt adhesive films, which not only reduces the bonding firmness, but also causes the product viscosity to change from time to time due to the unstable supply of recycled materials. The risk is great.

TPU hot melt adhesive film vs anaerobic adhesive: "Scene flexibility" difference in automotive interior bonding
2025-09-11
From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
