The following 4 industries are common application industries for TPU film

1.TPU film has excellent high and low temperature resistance

TPU film can maintain good performance in high and low temperature environments. Its high temperature resistance can reach 120℃, and its low temperature resistance can reach -40℃. Therefore,TPU film has a wide range of applications in high or low temperature environments.

Due to its excellent performance and characteristics, TPU film has been widely used in many fields. The following are the main application scenarios of TPU film:

TPU films are widely used in the field of automotive parts manufacturing, such as automotive water pipes, fuel pipes, seals, etc. Its excellent chemical corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance enable the TPU film to maintain good performance for a long time.

2. Electronics industry

In the electronics industry, TPU films are widely used in the manufacture of cable insulation layers, circuit boards, etc. Its excellent electrical properties and chemical resistance make TPU film an ideal material choice.

3. Medical industry

In the medical industry, TPU film is widely used in the manufacture of medical equipment such as materials, medical equipment, and mechanical films due to its good biocompatibility and chemical resistance. Complete medical equipment can maintain good performance during use

4. Packaging industry

In the packaging industry, TPU films are widely used in food packaging, cosmetics packaging and other fields. Its excellent transparency, barrier properties and environmental protection properties make TPU film an ideal packaging material. At the same time, TPU film can also be used to make containers such as packaging bags and bottles, which improves the storage and transportation safety of products.

TPU hot melt adhesive film vs anaerobic adhesive: "Scene flexibility" difference in automotive interior bonding
2025-09-11
From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
