TPU hot melt adhesive film only requires simple heating operation during use

TPU hot melt adhesive film is a high-performance adhesive material widely used for bonding and fixing various materials. It is made of thermoplastic polyurethane material, which can quickly bond various materials together after heating and form a high-strength adhesive layer after cooling. When using TPU hot melt adhesive film, simple heating operations are required to quickly bond.

Firstly, the surface of the material that needs to be bonded needs to be cleaned to remove oil, moisture, and other impurities, ensuring a clean and tidy surface. Then, place the TPU hot melt adhesive film on the surface to be bonded and heat it up using a heating tool. There are various ways to heat, such as using an electric iron, a hot air gun, or a professional hot melt glue gun. During the heating process, the TPU hot melt adhesive film will gradually melt and penetrate into the surface of the material, forming an adhesive layer.

When using, it is necessary to adjust the heating temperature and time according to the specific situation. If the temperature is too high or the time is too long, it may cause the adhesive film to melt excessively or lose its viscosity; If the temperature is too low or the time is too short, it may lead to poor bonding effect. Therefore, appropriate adjustments must be made based on factors such as the type and thickness of the material.

In addition to heating operation, TPU hot melt adhesive film also has other advantages. For example, it has the characteristic of rapid bonding, which can complete the bonding operation in a short time and improve production efficiency. At the same time, TPU hot melt adhesive film also has excellent weather and chemical resistance, can be used in various environments, and will not be corroded or aged. In addition, TPU hot melt adhesive film also has the advantage of environmental protection and will not cause harm to human health and the environment.

To sum up, TPU hot melt adhesive film only requires simple heating operation during use, and has advantages such as fast adhesion, weather resistance, excellent chemical resistance, and environmental protection. Therefore, it is widely used for bonding and fixing various materials, such as textiles, paper products, wood, plastics, etc. By using TPU hot melt adhesive film, it is possible to effectively improve production efficiency, ensure product quality, reduce costs, and protect the environment.

TPU hot melt adhesive film vs anaerobic adhesive: "Scene flexibility" difference in automotive interior bonding
2025-09-11
From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
