Classify the color TPU film according to different color numbers

TPU film is widely used, it can be said that it is everywhere. Some raw materials of the sports shoes we wear require TPU film, so we must choose this material. After all, only good materials can make good products. TPU film is a film made on the basis of TPU particles through calendering, casting, film blowing, coating and other processing techniques.

Due to the excellent performance and easy recycling of TPU film, the concept of biodegradable environmental protection is more and more popular. With the alternate development of industrial technology, replacing non-environmentally friendly films with TPU films has become the trend of environmental protection policies in countries all over the world.

The overall performance of the TPU film is significantly better than that of general plastic and rubber films. TPU film is divided into two categories: polyester and polyether. Mainly used in footwear, garments, medical supplies, defense supplies, sporting goods, industrial supplies, baby products and toys, daily necessities, etc.

TPU film is a kind of polymer material and is a new type of environmentally friendly material. The hardness of the TPU film is adjusted by the proportion of the hard segment. The TPU film is a material containing -NH-COO- groups in the molecule. The long-chain diol and isocyanate components constitute the soft segment, and the short-bond diol and isocyanate components constitute the soft segment. Hard segment, many characteristics of TPU film depend on the type of long-chain diol, its hardness is adjusted by the proportion of hard segment, its light aging can be improved by adding light stabilizer, and it also depends on whether the isocyanate is aromatic or aliphatic.

Customers can classify the colored TPU film according to different color numbers. Generally, these products are made according to the color numbers provided by customers, and there are certain requirements for the minimum order quantity. In addition to color, colored TPU film can also be divided into low permeability, medium permeability and high permeability. There are subdivisions of different thickness and width. Customers should choose according to their actual usage.

TPU hot melt adhesive film vs anaerobic adhesive: "Scene flexibility" difference in automotive interior bonding
2025-09-11
From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
