Several forms of TPU hot melt adhesive film

The melting temperature of TPU hot melt adhesive films made of different specifications is different, that is, there are high temperature, medium and low temperature points.

1. Low temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film

Tepuyou low temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film has a melting point of 45~50, a width of 1 meter to 1.5 meters, a thickness of 0.02 mm to 2 mm, with or without substrate bare moldability and release paper. Customizable colors

2. Medium temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film

Tepuyou medium temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film has a melting point of 55~70, a width of 1 meter to 1.5 meters, a thickness of 0.02 mm to 2 mm, and the same as low temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film with or without substrate and with release paper Two types. Customizable colors

3. High temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film

Tepuyou high temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film, its melting point can be above 80, the width is one meter to 1.5 meters, and the thickness is 0.02 mm to 2 mm. There are two types of substrates and release paper. Customizable colors

Except for the temperature, TPU hot melt adhesive film can also be divided into release paper and release film according to the base material. The release TPU hot melt adhesive film with substrate is mainly used for materials that require secondary compounding. One side of the TPU hot melt adhesive film is provided with a layer of release paper, which plays a protective role. Release paper is also called bare TPU hot melt adhesive film in the industry. It is a single-layer structure with only one layer of TPU hot melt adhesive film that can be bonded on both sides.

The TPU hot melt adhesive film with release paper and without release paper has little difference in product performance, but there are differences in the use method, which should be selected according to the actual use process of the customer. Release paper TPU hot melt adhesive film can be called TPU hot melt adhesive film with substrate

Many people will ask the temperature of TPU hot melt adhesive film which is good. In fact, the temperature of TPU hot melt adhesive film is not suitable or not. To choose the TPU hot melt adhesive film suitable for your own products, you should choose the right medicine!

TPU hot melt adhesive film vs anaerobic adhesive: "Scene flexibility" difference in automotive interior bonding
2025-09-11
From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
