How should TPU film be stored?

I believe everyone should know that once the TPU film is moldy, it will form mold spots that are difficult to remove on the surface, and the quality of the fabric will also decline. So how should the TPU film be stored?

TPU films have excellent properties and have a wide range of resistance to deformation, scratches and abrasions. Even at very low temperatures, its elasticity and wear resistance are still very good. At the same time, the TPU film has excellent bearing capacity, strong impact resistance and damping properties, which means it has high mechanical strength.

TPU film has outstanding cold resistance. Even at minus 35 degrees, the properties such as elasticity and flexibility will not deteriorate. In addition, it has good processability and can be molded by injection molding, extrusion and calendering. In addition, oil resistance, water resistance, mildew resistance, good reusability, and excellent comprehensive performance.

I believe everyone has seen the wood stacking method in the lumber yard. The horizontal arrangement is square, the second layer is vertical, the third layer is horizontal, and so on, staggered. The correct stacking method for TPU films is also similar.

TPU film is a highly polar polymer material with little affinity with non-polar mineral oil. The polyester series TPU film has good oil resistance, little change in oil content, and even higher tensile strength than the original value. It should be noted that if the mineral oil contains a small amount of water, the physical properties of the TPU film will be negatively affected to varying degrees.

As we all know, the environmental protection performance of PVC is greatly reduced because of the need to add a lot of additives. Composite fabric manufacturers and TPU film not only have the excellent characteristics of high tension, high tension, toughness and aging resistance, but also are mature environmental protection materials, which meet the current consumer's psychological consumption needs.

The above is how should the TPU film be stored? 's introduction. Hope it helps you.

TPU hot melt adhesive film vs anaerobic adhesive: "Scene flexibility" difference in automotive interior bonding
2025-09-11
From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
