What are the advantages of TPU film?
When TPU film manufacturers produce TPU film, the raw material is mainly TPU particles, which can be made into films after special processing such as calendering, casting, film blowing, and coating. The application purpose of TPU film is to be more waterproof, and it is one of the new materials with strong waterproof performance. Can be used for waterproof materials such as sports shoes, air bags or oil bags. In addition, it can also be used in some agricultural production, involving a wide range of industries.

TPU film not only has excellent high tension, high tension, high strength and aging resistance, but also has high mechanical strength and weather resistance. It is a mature environmentally friendly material, non-toxic and recyclable. Due to its good waterproof and moisture permeability, it is favored by more and more shoe and apparel companies. It also keeps the fabric waterproof and breathable after bonding. Clothing and shoes made from this bonded fabric are very comfortable to wear, and are also waterproof and breathable, making them very popular in the footwear and apparel market.

What are the advantages of TPU film?

1. Antibacterial and mildew proof

In harsh environments, bacteria, moisture and temperature will damage the TPU film, and the antibacterial and mildew-proof TPU film can effectively prevent these phenomena.

2. Hydrolysis resistance

TPU film has excellent water resistance and environmental protection in turbid environments, and will not be damaged in long-term use.

3. Low temperature performance

TPU films are usually up to 40 degrees Celsius, which can have low temperature tolerance.

4. Tear 4: TPU film

TPU film has strong tear resistance. The tear resistance of the TPU film also reflects the material's transverse physical properties, notch tear strength, notch angle and tear criteria.

5. Transparency

At different thicknesses, the transparency of TPU films can be subjective, and we often use thickness to evaluate the effect of TPU films.

TPU hot melt adhesive film vs anaerobic adhesive: "Scene flexibility" difference in automotive interior bonding
2025-09-11
From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
