Application classification of TPU hot melt adhesive film

1. Application of shoe material composite

The shoe material industry is one of the key uses ofTPU hot melt adhesive film. The key requirement of TPU hot melt adhesive film in the field of shoe materials is the ultra-low temperature hot melt adhesive film with pet protective film, such as the composite of shoe body and sole.

2. Highly elastic TPU hot melt adhesive film for underwear industry

In addition to conventional elastic EVA and TPU hot melt adhesive films, some customers also have high elastic films, such as seamless underwear and seamless underwear. Friends who have this need recommend TPU high-elastic hot melt adhesive film. Compared with conventional TPU and EVA, TPU high-elasticity hot melt adhesive film has stronger elasticity and resilience, the stretch length is close to 400%, and the resilience is close to 100%. It can be widely used in the field of seamless underwear. It also has high transparency and high temperature resistance, but compared with conventional adhesive film, the cost of TPU high elastic hot melt adhesive film is much higher.

3. Application of seamless wall glue

The TPU hot melt adhesive film for wall covering seamless adhesive is mainly eva hot-melt adhesive film, but the defects of eva hot-melt adhesive film are obvious. Although the melting point of 80 degrees is relatively low, it is still very difficult to solve the problem of seamless wall welting. Low-temperature TPU hot melt adhesive film can solve this problem.

4. Application of non-adhesive film

TPU hot melt adhesive film type is strongly recommended for the hot melt adhesive film composed of PVC and non-cloth material. In addition to the compounding of pvc and non-tarpaulin, TPU hot melt adhesive film can also be used as a compound glue for pvc wood flooring and pvc solid wood wallboard.

Application examples of the above-mentioned TPU hot melt adhesive film. Customers can choose TPU hot melt adhesive film with a relative melting point according to the temperature resistance and folding resistance of the material used, and mass produce it after testing according to process requirements.

TPU hot melt adhesive film vs anaerobic adhesive: "Scene flexibility" difference in automotive interior bonding
2025-09-11
From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
