Advantages of TPU film

With the rapid development of the times and industrial technology, it has become an irresistible trend for tpu film to replace other thin films, which is a good proof that tpu film replaces other thin films. It will not be long before the research and development technology of thin films will become higher and higher, and the application will become more and more extensive.

tpu film is an environmentally friendly polymer, divided into polyester and polyether, with a thickness of about 0.01~2mm. Widely used for spraying, spraying, calendering and processing of resin dissolved in solution. It is a plastic material that is often used by plastic processing machines. Its products cover a range of industrial applications and civilian necessities.

tpu film not only has excellent high tension, high tension, toughness and anti-aging properties, but also has high mechanical strength and good weather resistance. tpu film is a mature environmentally friendly material, non-toxic and recyclable. At present, tpu film has been widely used in: footwear, clothing, inflatable toys, water and underwater sports equipment, medical equipment, fitness equipment, car seat materials, umbrellas, luggage, bags, etc. With its excellent waterproof and moisture permeability, it is favored by more and more shoe and apparel companies. The laminated fabric can maintain good waterproof and breathable performance. Clothes and shoes made of this laminated fabric are very comfortable to wear, and also have waterproof and breathable performance, which is widely welcomed by the shoe and apparel market.

Tear resistance of tpu film

The tear resistance of tpu film refers to the notch tensile tear resistance. The tear resistance of tpu film reflects the material's transverse physical properties, notch tear strength, notch angle and tear criteria.

Antibacterial and anti-mildew properties of tpu film

Under harsh environmental conditions, bacteria, moisture and high temperature will cause harm to the tpu film, and the antibacterial and mildew-proof tpu film can effectively prevent these problems. Antibacterial poly is a typical feature of ether tpu film, used in harsh and complex environments, it can play the role of anti-aging and long life.

TPU hot melt adhesive film vs anaerobic adhesive: "Scene flexibility" difference in automotive interior bonding
2025-09-11
From the perspective of curing conditions, TPU hot melt adhesive film does not need to rely on special environments, while anaerobic adhesives are severely restricted by "auerobicity". The curing principle of anaerobic glue is to undergo polymerization under conditions of lack of oxygen and catalyzed by metal ions (such as iron and copper). If it is in an environment where air circulation or metal substrates are not available, the curing speed will be greatly slowed down or even unable to cure. In automotive interiors, most bonding scenarios are "open" (such as bonding the door panel skin to PP substrate, and the ceiling fabric to the sponge), the air can freely contact the bonding surface, and the substrate is mostly non-metallic (PP, ABS, fabric, etc.), lacking metal ion catalysis, and additional catalyst is required when using anaerobic glue, and the curing time is as long as several hours, which is difficult to meet the needs of industrial production. The TPU hot melt adhesive film only needs to be melted by heating (120-160℃) and can be cured after pressurization and cooling. It does not need to rely on the ambient oxygen concentration or the base material. It can be cured stably in open or closed bonding scenarios, and the curing time only takes a few dozen seconds to a few minutes, adapting to the fast-paced needs of the interior production line.
